Basalt & Granite Rockery Stone

This type of rock is widely used for terracing, garden walls, and borders. Many hillside properties in the Seattle area include basalt rockeries. Generally the quality black or the St. Helens basalt will be the best match for older rockeries. Feel free to photograph your existing rockery and send it to us to help you find the best match.

Rockery stone is sold as:

  • half-man (5 – 75 pounds each piece)
  • one man (75 – 250 pounds each piece)
  • two man (250 – 600 pounds each piece)
  • three man (600 – 900 pounds each piece)

Generally two and three man rock will require lifting equipment to move safely.
